Repaired the lift system on our Coleman/Fleetwood Avalon. No words can express our gratitude for the great service we received from Sandy, Nick and Buddy. When our camper broke during our vacation, we chose Wheelen over our local dealer in the Kansas City area based solely on attitude. Sandy or Buddy called frequently to keep us updated on the progress of our repair. Nick did a great job reassuring us that it was not a hard repair and then did a great job repairing the camper. Even though it is a 3-1/2 hour drive to Joplin, we will always call Wheelen when we need help.

        Class C

In July 2006 we were outside of Joplin Missouri when we blew two head gaskets as well as other damage to our class C. We were towed to Wheelen RV and they had to keep it for several weeks as I had to get back to Texas for chemotherapy. They were the nicest people in the world to deal with and they went above and beyond what they promised they would do. I would trust them with any RV work. Excellent and beyond!

        Travel Trailer

We broke down on the Interstate near Joplin, MO. The closest RV dealer was Wheelen where we took our Travel Trailer to have the front axle replaced. Had to leave with them approximately 2 weeks for repair. We live approx. 100 miles away. Not very professional. Actual cost came in almost 30% above the estimate we were given, which they later said they never gave us. My husband and I were both standing there and we're not stupid. We had the feeling when we left our Travel Trailer there that something like that might happen as no one seemed to be in charge. But when you're broke down on the interstate in a small town, you do what you must. We looked while we were there at new 5th wheels and saw a couple we liked. Decided to leave the Travel Trailer and when we picked the Travel Trailer up to talk more about a new one. Bottom line is, the way we were treated for the repair was not good and May 19 we bought a new 5er....from another dealer. Couldn't imagine buying from someone who would say one thing and then deny it. After the 30% increase on the bill with no explanation, come to find out they didn't even put caps back on the wheels. Not a good experience.
