Requested that they find a leak from the radiator on a Dutch Star with a Cummins on a Spartan Chassis. I had used some radiator stop leak to stop the leak as I was about 700 miles from the nearest service when it started. The service manager's advice was to drain, flush and replace the coolant while they looked for the leak. They did not find the leak...The service tech that worked on the job never got the message that it was a radiator leak, he thought it must be a leak in head gasket because of the remnants of the coolant all over the engine. If the manager had written up the service order correctly he would have known that the leak was coming from the radiator and perhaps found the leak. They charged me $190.00 USD. Probably a fair price but I would have liked to know what was the real cause of my radiator leak. Since then I have driven the rig another 3,500 miles with no signs of the leak that I repaired with the radiator stop leak.
