We had mice damage to our camper over the winter, and we filed a report with our insurance. We called Vacationland to get the our camper
repaired. We were told to bring the camper right in because "camping season hasn't started and we can get it going right a way." It took 5 weeks
to get an insurance quote (even with our insurance trying to get the quote). We heard every excuse for not getting this done. They had told us 2
times that they had gotten the cleaning done and the one time they said they had "20 hours of cleaning done." Following week-end we went to
Vacationland and the camper door was not locked, opened the door and the camper had not been touched. Many days and lies later we called Mr.
Schraeder (the owner) who said I'm going there tomorrow and he will "check on things." Never heard back. We called numerous times to
Vacationland, we heard many different excuses from we are "waiting on the company who manufacture the furniture", to "we are having a garage
sale this week-end." We called Mr. Schraeder again who told us that he doesn't really manage Vacationland anymore that he has past it on to his
son." And made the comment "I would have never ordered the furniture until that insurance check was signed (they had the check in their
possession, it just needed our signature). And stated "if it was up to me you wouldn't get your camper back until December. He was very rude,it
took us by such surprise. We took our camper there 3/31/2013 and we got it back 6/14/2013. And believe me there is much more to this
experience. Couch replaced was supposed to be blow up mattress like the previous couch. Other work was fair. Very poor costumer service.
Truck Campers

Purchased a truck cap and had it installed by the Vacationland service department. They got the cab of my truck very dirty during installation. I had to ask them to clean it before I could sit in the seat.. 2 weeks later the caps bottom trim was missing some adhesive and was pulling away. This was a manufacture problem. When Vacationland took the cap off my truck they had put the cap seal on my trucks bed rails not the cap. The seal should always go on the cap so when the cap is removed you do not have a seal on your truck. The real issue is they did not use a thick enough seal so the cap had scratch my truck all the way around the bed. Vacationland will not repair my brand new truck??

Repack bearings and appliance check I needed bearings repacked before taking a vacation, and even with late notice, they were able to squeeze me into their schedule. took a few trips afterward and all is well. Labor charge is on par with other local service providers.

Annual Brake and bearing maintenance. We were extremely impressed with Mark's knowledge and helpful answers to our questions. We are comfortable knowing he is there to help us since we're new to this. An extreme asset to Vacationland! Very friendly and happy too! The work was performed when we were told it would be and were contacted when it was finished.
