Southern RV

Slide seals replaced. Sealtech test to check and seal and leaks and minor misc repairs. I have a upper end fifth wheel and wanted the slide seals replace and wanted the sealtech test done to check the roof for leaks and some other minor repairs. I thought I was taking it to a reputable dealer since they charge 119.00 an hour I expected to get quality work done but I did not. They kept my trailer for 16 days knowing that I was having to rent another place to stay. When I went to pick it up on saturday, they had cut one of the new slide seals in 3 places and used white caulking over brown decals. The bedroom slide would not even slide out and there wasn't anything wrong with it when I dropped the trailer off. No one was there on Saturday that had worked on it so they could not tell me anything about the repairs. They kept it until the next Wednesday and fixed the slide seal and caulking but the cost was unreal for the repairs done to the trailer. Within two weeks the roof had leaked and the slide seal had came loose. I called to have them get it repaired but it has been two weeks and they have not returned my call. I had to hire someone else to make the repairs. I would not use Southern RV or would not recommend Southern RV of Tyler Texas to anyone.
