Our first trip south from Pennsylvania in our (new to us) 2003 Holiday Rambler gas motorhome October 2015. Ready to throw in the towel after we broke down 3 times on the way. Last breakdown was by Deland where we found Southern RV who rescued us Andre even stayed past closing until the tow truck had us tucked into their gated parking lot. A clogged fuel line which was supposed to be fixed by the dealer in Ohio when we bought it apparently hadn't been touched and reared it's ugly head again. I can't say enough good things about Southern RV, their new owner and the crew. Awesome staff, awesome techs who knew their stuff. We thought we were stuck out in no where and found the town of Deland just minutes down the road. A beautiful college town filled with shops and restaurants, even our little dog was welcomed. Southern RV gave us pricing options for repair, made our unplanned stay so comfortable and Andre test drove our motorhome with us before signing off on the job. With a back up fuel filter and some new tools we continued on to Arcadia Florida and Bonita Springs, Florida for a few months. Headed back up to home in January and have not had one more issue with "The Admiral". We wish Southern RV was closer to home and would certainly recommend them.

Diagnose and repair refrigerator that was not working. We had contacted the dealer where we purchased our RV and they told us that they could not schedule service for three weeks. We talked to friends who had service done by Southern RV and called to see if they could look at our RV. Amy said to bring it in the following morning. We were met by Amy, the Service Manager, who referred us to Mike, who diagnosed and serviced the refrigerator. The work was done quickly, professionally and very reasonably. We had the RV back that afternoon with everything working fine. This was by far the best service experience we have ever had in over 30 years of RVing. We will never take our RV anywhere else for service. Thanks again Amy, Mike and Southern RV!

I had several issues with my coach to get repaired. Refrigerator not cooling, hot water heater would not stay on in gas mode, leaks at two slideout areas, batteries for house not charging. Superb personal service. Technical skills and communication is 5 stars! Very fair pricing and the quickest turn around I have seen from an RV dealership in Florida. Recommend to all Rvers. Very busy shop. Now I know why.

My class A motorhome was running in limp mode on the interstate and the I-4 emergency repair truck referred me to Southern RV for a repair facility. They are only 3.5 miles off interstate on the exit road near Daytona Beach & Orlando. The Service adviser met me in the parking lot and we briefly discussed the problem I was having. He directed me to the service writer to get a work order issued right away and he would take a look at it with the scanner immediately. The scanner read the error codes and found several errors including oxygen sensors and other issues. He called the local truck parts warehouse and had the parts delivered within the hour. Installed the units and cleared the error codes and test drove unit. Found one more error code that didn't show up before and repaired the loose vacuum line on the other side of engine. Excellent service and attention to detail. Test driving unit and making sure everything was OK before I left impressed me. Most shops I have visited won't do that. Showed me all errors on scanner so trust was instantly earned. Very fair price and quick service. Looks to be a very busy local shop, service units everywhere and 8 bays for service. Large retail parts store on premises and nice waiting room with flat screen large TV. Would drive over 150 miles to get service done by this shop!

I pulled out my wiring between my truck and fifth wheel toy-hauler. The brakes locked up and we could not move the unit. We called Southern RV and they told us how to release the brake and how to limp our unit in to them. They quickly rewired our two units including the truck and did not patch anything. They tested everything with a test drive and found the brakes needed to be looked at. Found out my drums were cracked as well as the bearings without much grease. They showed me all the parts and had the unit completed in just a few hours of labor. Great people to work with, Great communication and VERY fair pricing. I would recommend this mid size company to all RVers without hesitation. Many class A Motor homes being worked on during our visit and they stopped and jumped on our unit to get us back on the road again quickly. Even got to meet the owner to thank him.
