On Sept. 30th we took our Bighorn 5th wheel in for service at 8:30 a.m. our furnace was not functioning, fireplace smelled like burnt wiring, front led light needed to be replaced and large slide out would not retract all the way. After 5 hours the only thing fixed was the furnace. The mechanic who worked on our unit did not know that the fireplace was on its own circuit and said that we had too many things plugged in on one circuit. The plug was totally fried along with the plug receptical. Our 5th wheel could have burned to the ground. Porters had no parts to repair our fireplace. In the last 3 years they have replaced our circuit board on our furnace 3 different times. They did not have the bulb to replace the burnt out light. The issue of the slide out was not addressed as we we were now having an issue with the service department because they had no idea who or how to contact our insurance carrier. They wanted to charge us over $300.00 because they had no idea how to handle our insurance clam. To make a long story short our furnace is still not working right. Our fireplace is still not working, our light still does not work and our slide out was never addressed because after over 5 hours we were totally done. What is going on at Porters. We have never had a problem before. We are on a job 100 miles from Coos Bay and here we sit knowing we will have to pay someone again to repair what was not taken care of at Poters RV, Coos Bay, Oregon.

Warranty repairs and adjustments to dining table, cabinet doors, stove, microwave, bathroom vanity countertop laminate, and other misc small detail items. We went to our appointment with the service department at the dealership where we purchased our RV prepared with a written "punch list" which I think was very helpful. All staff were very courteous. We were greeted promptly and sent to the service manager who saw that our unit was taken care of immediately. The salesperson who assisted us in our purchase also acknowledged our presence. All work was completed to satisfaction. When the repairs were complete, the manager explained everything that had been done and gave us a copy of the service order listing those resolutions. The Dealer knew we were heading out on our first trip, had the repairs done in the time promised, and we were on the road in time to reach our destination. They had to order a new microwave, which was operational, but had a problem with the laminated glass on the door separating. They also answered several questions we had about various functions.
