Here I'm looking for a place to take our motorhome in for some maintanance and repairs. I've checked Camper World first. Their reviews were terrible. Sound like K & C is just as bad. Nobody is in a hurry to get anything done and done properly. Sad world when you spend a rediculious amount of money on a vehicle and nobody knows how to fix them. Sad

Diagnose air brake leak. An appointment was made and confirmed for early AM service with customer to wait. We arrived the night before and were able to plug in. We were in the service lane at 8:00 AM when employees arrived and company opened. K & C's treatment of a customer waiting for service was deplorable. When I expressed my concern I overheard the service rep telling another employee I was "freaking out", because I expected them to perform as they had promised. No waiting room, not even a chair or an offer of a place to wait. NOT A PLACE FOR REPAIRS WHEN WAITING IS A REQUIREMENT. "no customer service, no customer"

Recall, warranty, repair. We brought home our New Dutchmen Infinity in July of last year. It has spent over half the time we have owned it sitting on the lot at K&C for service work. They didn't fix the recall even though I had made an appointment 2 weeks prior to taking it in last September. We had to take it for our trip with nothing fixed. Then we took it back for them to fix all the little and yes some major fixes in November. And it is still there, as far as we know it is waiting on parts. Or that is what Amy the service writer says. How can we evaluate what we don't have? It has been there for 17 of the 33 weeks we've owned it.

Workhorse brake recall check; replace brake rotors and pads; inflate tires to specified psi. No problem with the new rotors and pads. Could have postponed, but saved a little money by having them done now. Problem is they charged me $38.70 (really!) to put air in the tires! When I questioned that charge, the service adviser, Patty, tried to convince me I was getting a good deal because the she had reduced the amount of time the tech claimed to have spent on it. After having spent over $1400.00 for the brake work, I'm astounded they had the nerve to charge me for checking/setting the air pressure in the tires. I've told them K&C now occupies the top of my "Worst Places to Take Your RV" list. I'll never go back.

Warranty repairs. This is my second Class A from K&C in Longmont and their service work, repairs, maintenance and customer service have always been excellent. Have been doing business with them since 2005, and that is why I bought my second RV from them in 2009

        Travel Trailer

Warranty repair work for delmainating roof panel We purchased our travel trailer from K&C in June of 2005. We took the trailer in for what we thought was a water leak but turned out to be a delaminating panel. Initially Pat (our service adviser) say it would take them about a week to get the repair done. Long story short Pat was absolutely horrible, he never returned phone calls and seemed very unsympathetic to wards our situation. On the rare occasion we actually got a hold of him he?d say he needed to look it up and get back to us. I guess that computer sitting in front of him didn?t work while he was on the phone. After a month of dealing with this we decided to contact Jayco directly and found out the warranty work had been authorized several weeks before but K&C refused to do the authorized work. Several more weeks went by K&C had excuse after excuse blaming everyone under the sun for the delay (except themselves). The last contact we had with them, K&C told us they ordered parts but they were on backorder and had no clue when to expect them. Jayco instructed us to pick up the trailer so we could use it throughout the summer, then when the parts were in K&C would call us so we could finished up the service. Thus we contacted K&C in late September to see where we stood on getting the repairs finished up. K&C had no record of any parts ever being ordered (even though they told us in July they did) in addition Pat had moved on and left no notes (guess he really didn?t know how to use the computer). We were essentially back at square one with them. In all K&C had our travel trailer for 2 months, in the 2 months they took off the A/C cover and put it back on. We?re done dealing with K&C, I would not buy a roll of toilet paper from this dealer. We have since switched the service request to Colorado RV Outlet in Golden, they are owned by the same corp. however the service department is much for efficient and customer friendly. As far as K&C goes I think a poor rating is way to generous, I would rate it horrible, terrible, avoid at all cost!

Problems started immediately after I bought my motorhome and continued for the entire time it was under warranty. Back up camera, I had to take the motorhome back 6 times, Took the motorhome back 3 times for the jacks, I had to take the motorhome in 3 times for the slide out because it would not operate properly and would either not go out or not come when I push the button and had to play with it for half and hour to an hour to make it operate. Simply terrible, had to take the motorhome back 6 times to correct the rear camera, was told not to turn it on going down the road because that caused it to overhead and the monitor to go blank, front jacks would not retract 100% - was told it was not covered and was due to owner caused problems (fixed it myself with a new o ring for the jack, slide out problems - was told they could repeat the problem after I took it in 3 times for this problem - ended up fixing it myself by going to the circuit board and finding a loose solder connection. I bought my 03 Southwind from them but I won't ever go back for anything, they are simply incompetent and will lie to you in a heartbeat!! Stay away from this place.
