Repaired Dometic Fridge by replacing cooling unit. The new cooling unit lasted one year when it had to be replaced again. One year later it again failed and I replaced the fridge. A new fridge cost only a few dollars more than the "repair" of the old one. If I had been told this at the time, I would have replaced it and avoided the trouble and expense of the second repair and eventual replacement. George Sutton should have advised me of this and saved me a couple of thousand dollars.

        5th Wheel Trailer

Took our 5th wheel in for slide adjustments and several service items: 1) carpet bunching in bedroom; 2) leak by bath vent; and 3) lube of steps and jacks. Also asked them to wash the trailer. Received a call later the same day from the dealer saying that the slides were too far out of alignment for them to adjust, and that I could come pickup the trailer. Asked if they contacted the manufacturer (one of the brands they sell) for guidance on the slide problem. Was told that their tech had 20 years experience and didn't need to call the factory for advice. After begging them to contact the factory, they called and were instructed to check the frame for damage ... turned out the frame was broken. If I had insisted they call, I would have left with a broken frame and the slides still out of alignment. Rather than stretching the carpet in the bedroom, they ran tacks down the middle of the walkway ... looked terrible. And to lube all of the black components, they used a white spray-on lube that looked like Crisco, than was all over the steps. Very dissatisfied with the attitude and quality of the repairs. Took the trailer back to the factory to have the frame and slides repaired. While there the factory redid the carpet repair by removing the tacks added by Sutton and stretching the carpet and re-tacking at the edges.

        Travel Trailer

In December 2003 I took my 2003 R-vision 8263s Travel Trailer in for a water leak under the sink. Sutton replaced the facet but left both drawers full of water. The facet fell apart on our next trip and was too short to put items under it to fill. I took the trailer back in when I returned to Eugene and they would not replace nor repair the facet. Original work was shoddy and not professional. Refused to repair work that they did improperly.
