Refrigerator - Because we had no way to get the trailer to it's intended site, the service manager had it delivered to our home - for no extra charge. When we found a problem with the frig, he sent the service guys to the house, again no additional charge, we were very happy with the service we got and the fact that they understood I couldn't easily get it back to them for the work. Excellent. At first I was prepared for battle to get this resolved, but that was unnecessary. Also, the parts and accessories are in line with the superstore pricing.

Fixing a sink drain, replacing a radio under warranty. The service at Gary Johnston's RV was terrible. When the part arrived for the sink drain, they never installed it until I showed up to pick up the camper. Then, the stereo that their diagnostics determined was bad had to be replaced under warranty. 10 months later I was still looking to get it replaced. They forgot to order on 5 different occasions, and several different excuses came up like we got one it but is was broken. Even the owner Aaron Johnston was worthless in helping get this resolved. One day he was to call me back right away as he cut our conversation short while discussing the issue so he could contact Forest River to investigate the delay. He never called back. His employees promised the same multiple times with the same result. In the end I called forest river myself and had they sent me a radio for replacement. Later Johnston RV contacted me to replace mine, but I haven't told them to forget about it. What is another month when we were dealing with almost a year as it is.... Do your self a favor, visit some other RV place. Johnston RV has the worst service department I have ever seen.

Repair the bathroom ceiling light leak and repair a hole at the rear brake light. Both manufacturer defects by Forest River. I scheduled for the work to be done, and they gave me an approximate completion date 10 days later. I called to see if it had been completed, but it hadn't so I told them no problem, but I needed it by Wednesday of the next week. They said it would be all set. They didn't call so I contacted them about it to see if it was complete, and they said I would be all set for pickup. When I arrived they had just started to do the work. I had to sit around for 3 hrs for them to complete the work. When it was done, they did an OK job, but poor planning and execution cost me a week and 3 hrs.
