Just wanted to update on recent service. The parts they ordered to finish up my service all came in, on time and the right parts. The parts department called on Wednesday to let me know the parts were in, just like they said they were going to do. Charles, the service technician, did an excellent job on the work he did and explained to me what the parts did and how they worked. To change the belt he had to come inside the coach to access the engine from the top. He took plastic and wrapped around his shoes as to not get the carpet dirty. This is my second dealing with Fourstar and I will highly recommend them to anyone for outstanding service and price Excellent

Service of fuel and air filter. They had to order filters for the Allison transmission service Called Saturday morning to make an appointment and was told to come on now. When I got there pulled right in and work was started. I told them I had just purchased the RV and this was the first one I have owned. I had no service records so the lady up front looked it up and found it had been serviced in another one of their locations. The mechanic told me to come into the service area and if I had any questions to just ask. He showed me where all the filters were located and things to keep a check on. He also without being asked checked the brakes and all the bottom side of the coach, without a charge.

Recall inspection I wanted to let all of you know about my very first trip to a Freightliner Service Center. The closest one to my house is in Dothan, Alabama and is owned by Four Star. The service personnel were extremely nice, and very pleasant to work with. The were very understanding to my needs, and have nice accommodations for their customers. They even took the time to tell me of the upgrade programs they have already started on for their RV customers. The Service Manager, Mr. David Carroll answered all of my questions with ease, and welcomed my blundering around with the terminology. This is my first ever vehicle that uses diesel fuel, so I am really a rookie. I had an inspection for a recall notice on the diode connectors. Mine were found to be in excellent condition. I asked if they could also check the lug nuts on the tires. After reading a couple of the threads here, I thought that to be a proper thing to do. They pulled out a 4 or 5 foot long torque wrench and proceeded to check every lug nut, at no charge to me. Needless to say I was stunned at the zero cost. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone.

Fuel leak I have extended warranty, and they hung up on person when trying to get authorization number. Of course I had to pay in full for the service. Around $450, maybe for an hours work. And about 100 miles down the road it started leaking again.
