Remove awning, replace spring and reinstall awning. Careful, meticulous and perfect. When they removed the awning they discovered that a seam in the canvas needed some sewing work. The plan was to get a local upholsterer to come in and fix the seam. We would return in a few days and Del Air would re-install the awning. But the upholstery shop did return their phone calls. This is not a skill set the RV dealer has, so they let me do the sewing myself in their shop and then they reinstalled the awning. Very friendly shop that wants to get their customers back on the road ASAP.
