        Inspect roof, state inspection, air conditioner cleaning on 2008 Airstream Safari - purchased new from Camper Clinic II Buda TX. Roof inspected with suggestions to replace caulk within the year. State inspection performed. A/C checked and cleaned. The work performed was less than fair, but the service received settles any probability that I will ever return. A/C had a cracked condensate drain hose and inspector claims a replacement drain hose was not available. Really? A vinyl condensate drain tube was not available? I made an appointment for service 2 weeks in advance, dropped unit off at 8:30 a.m., and requested a courtesy call when service was complete. I asked the service clerk - Leia (sp?)for an estimated completion time and she replied "after lunch", which on the face of it is extremely vague and lacks tact. The day went by and I left a message with Leia at 3:00 for an update. I received no return call and drove back at 5:00 as all the employees were leaving. I asked Leia for the status and received no apology for the missed notification. Instead, she complained that "Clay" didn't tell her it was ready. Leia said that my unit was outside when I asked for the location to pick it up (I would hope it was outside). So, I walked the perimeter of the property and located my unit stored in the rear of the facility in a maze of trailers. The unit was parked so close to the the other trailers that it was impossible to pull the unit from the lot. I walked back to the front desk and asked if they could move the unit to a location where I could hook it up without damaging my truck, my unit, or anybody else' unit in the proximity, and I waited 15 minutes while somebody located an associate that could operate the forklift and wedge my unit out of the maze. I gave no visible or verbal impressions that I was highly disappointed. Besides, confrontations, complaints and bad attitudes never get you anywhere. The end result is simple - I won't go back and will abide by the local RV'ers advice in Rockport - "never go there again".

        5th Wheel Trailer

        We purchased our used 5th wheel from Camper Clinic, and had a wonderful experience with the sales and financial staff. They were to have the RV thoroughly cleaned and everything tested in the service department with a few minor repairs to be performed. This is where the real problems began. The work order was put in on a Tuesday and we were scheduled for the final walk-through and pick-up on Friday, no later than 1:30. Wasn't ready. Waited for hours then finally just rescheduled for Monday morning at 10am. Still not done. Hadn't even been washed yet! Finally got our walk-through about 1pm and guess what? They hadn't even cleaned the carpet. I think they threw some cleaner around and smeared up some windows and mirrors to make it look like they had done the "thorough" cleaning that was included in the price. By this point we just wanted out of there so we probably didn't check things out as well as we should. Call it inexperience, but we've now learned our lesson. As we started moving into our new home we realized that they hadn't even so much as wiped out the drawers and there were even used tissues under the mattress. Neither one of the TV's worked, news to us, and there was an obvious lack of attention to detail. The service staff were lackadaisical at best and seemed more interested in gossiping amongst themselves than providing any real customer support. We won't go back!

        Onan 7.5 KW diesel generator oil & filter, air filter change and clean spark arrestor. Lube coach chassis and check tire pressures. Troubleshoot generator for temperature sensor fault. I was charged $289.00 for the generator service. They changed fuel filter even though it was not requested (recently changed). The chassis lube job and checking the air in the tires were not done. The generator temperature sensor was not even found. After 3 phone calls back Thom still has not been able to tell me where the sensor is located. Greasy hand prints were left on the hood under the mask. Very unprofessional service. Double check any work you have done here.

        Oil change, change fuel filter. Great job. Very friendly people. I had made initial contact to Jim via email and was very happy with the time of his response. Will definitely return for any service we need if we are in the area.

        The coach batteries were not being charged by the engine alternator. The 12v distribution board was bad. They ordered a new board from the mfg. The new board came in damaged so Lisa ordered a new board immediately. A few days later the new board came in and was installed. While returning to Camper clinic to have the board installed the power step broke. Lisa had it fixed while they replaced the board. Work was done very neatly and all is working very good. Lisa is very good and we will use Camper Clinic in the future.
