Several small to moderate warranty issues I arranged in advance to have some warranty work done on my 5th wheel. I explained that I could leave the rig as long as they thought they needed it, but said it had to be completed before 3/1/06 because I had a commitment to the Oregon State Parks system as a host and couldn't bring my rig in during that time. They told me to bring it in on 2/27 and that it would be done by the end of the day on 2/28, "no problem." I took it in bright and early on the 27th and reminded them of my time constraints. They again told me there would be no problem. I called the next day at 11:30 to see how things were going. They told me they hadn't done anything except swap out my propane regulator because I had voided my entire warranty by making some modifications to my rig. I asked them to go through each requested repair and to tell me how I had voided my warranty. They couldn't. They finally agreed that I had not voided my warranty but, by then, there wasn't enough time to do all the repairs. They asked what I needed done the most. I told them. They said they'd have those things done by the end of the day. Of course, nothing was done. This left me in big trouble because I didn't have a way to have the repairs done before my warranty was up. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (BBB). They responded with a poorly adapted form letter in which they used my first name as my last (they couldn't even get my name right). They also lied in their response to the BBB. I filed a rebuttal and the BBB sent it to them. This time they didn't respond to me or the BBB. They just don't seem to care and I truly believe they treated me this way on purpose. Their goal was to make me angry so that I would take my warranty work elsewhere. The problem was that I couldn't and they knew this when I first contacted them.

I purchased a new Winnebago Outlook in May. During the walk-through at delivery there were many problems, non-functioning or broken parts and incomplete assembly. The service tech doing the walk-through with me didn't know much about my unit and it was clear that no one really cared anyway. When I came back a week later the corrections were either done incorrectly or not done at all. Three months later I am still trying to get 2 non-functioning items working but all I get is the runaround. Very poor. Take it somewhere else or do it yourself if you want it done right.
