I find that by changing the oil on a yearly basis even if it is a large cubic inch diesel pusher is highly recommended oil deteriorates and can cause severe oxidation to the internal working parts of a motor oil is a lot less expensive then a new motor I have a 600 horsepower Cummings diesel motor and I change the oil in that once a year whether I've driven 500 miles or whether I've driven 3000 miles
