When returning to my coach at the Georgia Welcome Center 2426 S Hwy 75 Ringold, Ga. I discovered my hydraulic hose to the powering steering had ruptured and I had lost all the fluid, I called Good Sam Emergency Roadside Assistance and explained exactly what was needed in the way of hose and hydraulic fluid. They contacted Shackleford and the rep from there called me within about 30 min. I again explained that I needed 5' of 1 1/2" hose & 5 gal of hydraulic fluid. The rep from Shackleford assured me that they would have a repairman at my location within 1 hr. When the repairman arrived, he had no hose or fluid and told me he would have to go back to the shop in Chattanooga to get the necessary supplies. Approximately 2 hrs later he returned and had the hose and fluid replaced in less than 30 min. He then presented me with a bill for $516.31 which is extremely excessive according to other repair facilities I have contacted. If the repairman had brought the required hose and fluid the first time I would not have been charged $297.50 for 3 1/2 hrs. of labor, nor would I have had to endure over 4 hours of sitting in the heat waiting for him to go back and forth from my location to his shop. I also was charged for $25.00 shop supplies which were not explained in addition to $75.00 for the hose and $75.00 for the hydraulic fluid. Very unprofessional
