Mike’s Mobile RV Care

This guy is a true POS, he got me for about $1300 plus what I’m having to pay to actually get my motor home fixed. He installed a new A/C unit and it never worked, he bought more parts trying to fix it, then ghosted me, blocked my phone number. Come to find out he had burned up the new unit by putting jumper wires around safeties. Stand behind your work man !! Stay away from this guy

Took my $500 cash deposit never got my correct parts won't answer my calls or texts is now ghosting me this is a joke

I first met Mike about 2 years ago. I had an A/C problem. He came out & looked at my unit. He advised me that a wire was lose. He only charged me the service call. I thought I had found a nice honest local Mobile RV repair. When I had an issue I did not hesitate to call Mike. I called him and told him my slide out would not come in. He came over looked at the unit and advised it was probably the gearbox. I decided to have him replace the gearbox and the motor because he said they came together as a package and it would be cheaper. I gave him $300 for that. When he came back the gearbox looked new but the motor was all worn and dirty. I asked him is this motor used because it looks dirty and he said no I had that one already. I thought that was odd because I gave him the money to order the parts together. After he had put the motor and gearbox on the slide out was still doing the same thing. He said the motor must be bad I will get you a new one. I again thought this was odd because it was supposed to be new to begin with. Either way he came back with a new motor in package & he installed the new motor. But the same problem was happening so he said he would have to come back and make contact with the warranty part of the motor to find out why it's not working. Unfortunately I already paid him the other $300 because the total cost was $600. So he already got his money and he never came back to check on the RV. Of course every time I asked him for a receipt he always left his receipt book in the other truck. So unfortunately I do not have a receipt. I now have a slide out with a new motor and gearbox that still will not slide into the trailer. I have called him daily this last week without a response. I decided to check Google reviews and I was surprised at what I saw. But actually I am not surprised and I wish I would have checked again once before calling Mike back to fix my RV. I have no idea what happened to this guy for why he is the way he is now. So today I went to his yard to approach him about him blowing me off, having very bad communication as well as not fixing my RV. I arrived just before he got to the yard. I told him I wanted half my installation back because the job is not complete and he said I'm not giving you any money back. His ultimate response was take me to court! Shame on me for not doing my homework of looking at his Yelp and Google reviews. His reviews are horrible. Mike’s Mobile RV Care has been reported to the California Bureau of Automotive Repair for operating without a valid BAR#. He has also received payment for work up front and did not do the repairs. At one time he was very good, it’s a shame he has resorted to defrauding his customers.

We recently bought a new to us class A with a satellite dish on the roof, Mike got it working, the previous owners had removed the cable to the antenna. Also fixed our side mirror that would move. Mike is quick and efficient, at $120.00 he works fast. We were very pleased, and yes his truck is an rv store on wheels. He is very busy, so try to plan in advance if you want work done by him.

Mike replaced the slide hydraulic mechanism. It was a difficult and messy job. He did it on site. He has an amazing mobile truck. Top notch job. Mike is a problem solver. He tackled a difficult job as our slide popped out coming down Hwy 99. He overnighted the parts and had us on our way in no time. I will now stop in Bakersfield to have him work on our coach.
