We then had our refrigerator dump all its ammonia on a Saturday evening. I called Matthews on Sunday and told them what happened. They found a replacement cooling unit in Arlington, TX and ordered it Monday AM. It got to San Antonio on Tuesday morning and they drove to San Antonio and picked up the unit and came straight out to our site in Leakey and pulled the old one and installed the replacement. Again they filed the extended warranty and I paid the deductible along with a special trip charge to San Antonio to get the replacement and get on out to us. Superior

No DC power in motorhome. Murphy responded to my call within several hours and diagnosed the cause as a defective relay within an hour. He ordered the part and installed it upon its arrival several days later. After this problem had been solved, I noted that the hydraulic jacks were not working. Murphy quickly located the problem (broken mounting bolts at the hydraulic pump which caused the unit to lose its electrical ground). He fabricated a separate ground and made a temporary repair to secure the pump. Murphy is a very personable individual who is extremely competent in performing RV repairs. He certainly showed a real aptitude in my case in quickly diagnosing and repairing several electrical problems. His rates are reasonable - $70/hour. He is also an RVIA certified technician. Most importantly, he knows when to refer a problem to another specialist if he feels its solution is beyond his capabilities.
