Brought our 5th wheel into George Campeau facility where he quickly located a slow leak in our hot water heater. He immediately set 2 if his less
experienced men on fixing the leak which he oversaw. Another employee worked on 2 kitchen drawers which were broken. One worker went to a
store and got 2 fixtures needed for an air compressor of ours for future use. Campeau located our leak and had it fixed within an hour. One person could have done the work within an hour. We were charged $90 for each
person working on the leak which he oversaw and had the workers redo at one point. The drawers were not fixed. We were charged $90 for the
person who worked on the drawers for approximately 10-15 min. Altogether we were there a little over an hour and charged $311.50. After my
husband paid the bill and we got back to our campsite we realized we were overcharged and I emailed Campeau. I said we were happy that the
leak was fixed but the drawers were not and we felt the charges were too much. He apologized for his lack of "itemization skills" but hoped we
would use him again. I asked for a new bill sent by email and a credit if he thought there was an overcharge. He never responded. He told us he
was on Angie's List and I checked. He is. I did not want to join Angie's List to talk about his service. I called Escapees Inc of which we are members
and complained about him because we mentioned the group to him. We definitely think we were taken advantage of and overcharged although
our leak was fixed. We also have extensive water saturation of insulation in the undercarriage of the RV because of the slow leak. When we
mentioned that this might be a problem Campeau dismissed our concerns and said it would dry out of its own accord. We are now using another
RV service provider to address the wet insulation problem.
