State Inspection We just purchased a Class A on a Freightliner chassis and so I brought it to a local Freightliner service center for PM service. I was not happy with the treatment there or the extra 30% per hour they charged for a motorhome. When I asked some local mechanics where else I could bring it for service they recommended 495. I brought it there for a state inspection and was pleased with their work and attitude. Not a fancy place but I will definitely return.

Locate leaking metal fuel line on Cummins 400. Replace, test and complete. We lost a fuel line on a Thursday. The local Cummins shop told me it would be at week before they could look at the coach, and a State Trooper mentioned a nearby shop that did a lot of work on buses and large truck. When we pulled in the appearance was a little messy and confusing but it was kinda like the messy desk is usually the guy doing the most work. They did not make us cookies or had a waiting room with TV and magazines. Make no mistake these guys are all business. We slept in our coach they were very friendly and worked after hours to try and get us out before the weekend. Less than 24 hours after we arrived we were on our way at the price of $125.00 labor, I offered to pay the overtime rate. I drove to Cummins and bought the $80.00 part. I'll keep 495 Truck on my list before any fancy showroom and am very thankful for my new Boston friends.
