Washburn Engineering

We recently had very extensive water damage to our motor home.  We took it into Mark Washburn and he agreed to do our work.  He has exceeded our expectations on every thing  his shop did.  We also did some renovations to bring our 2004 Sportscoach up to more current décor.  We would highly recommend this shop to anyone for RV repairs and updates wither the job is large of small. On a recent trip, one of our electric slide-outs would not retract on one end. By running the slide motor and pushing on the "broke end," we managed to get it closed and limped back home. We have another trip shortly and were anxious to get it fixed as soon as possible. I searched the internet and found several shops in our area but Washburn Engineering was the only shop who could see us on short notice. We dropped our rig off at their shop on Monday. Mark and crew removed the belly panels and insulation, then replaced a bolt that had "fell out" of the slide mechanism. The slide had to be readjusted. They also checked other bolts in similar locations on the other slides. Our rig was at their shop for a total of 3 days. I am very pleased. There is no evidence that any work was done and the slide works as good or better than new. That slide was a little off in adjustment before but is perfect now. Some RV repair shops would have cut the plastic belly cover to gain access to the slides but Mark and crew removed and replaced the covering just like it came from the factory. The price was, I believe very reasonable. Mark says he checked the roof caulk as courtesy. I cannot abide shops that want to me to leave my rig on their lot for weeks while they try to "work me in" then do poor, overpriced repairs. I would definitely use Washburn Engineering again.
