Dropped off my truck (with an appointment) because it was leaking antifreeze and needed the front end looked at.. the Owner told me he would get it in the next day and get me an estimate.. one week later, I called and he told me he is slow because of his knee replacement and hadn’t gotten to it yet.. fast forward another week and I called again and he said it was on air test and not leaking. No attempt from them to start the truck and warm it up while on test.. fast forward another 2 weeks and I had to call them again! They told me a possible head gasket and he would get me an estimate.. 3 days later I showed up at his shop and got my truck back because in exactly 30 days, I never received one call from them and received nothing but excuses! When he handed me my keys, amongst 38 other pairs of keys (I counted) he proceeded to tell me that his only other employee had been sick and he is behind. A little honesty goes a long ways and this shop should stop taking in vehicles until he can get the 1-2 years worth of backlogged vehicles out of his lot that he can’t even attend to!!

Trouble with our engine bucking and choking, indicating possible fouled diesel fuel and clogged filters. All fuel filters changed, new air filter, checked other items on the coach that were a concern. Lubed coach, checked and filled axle hubs, changed engine oil and filters. This guy works from 7AM to 9 PM, 6 or 7 days a week. He is a thorough, competent mechanic and NOT a parts changer. We carry most of our own filters and fluids, but had not had the chance to order a new air filter for this coach, which we had recently purchased. His office staff ordered it for us without having to be asked, because they knew it was the right thing to service at this time. Reasonable labor rate, took 3 days to get all our items completed because he had to work on our rig between emergency calls. He is in great demand and has a superb reputation in the community. everyone we spoke to seems to know him and calls him a great guy. We think so, too.

Just moved to Buena Vista and needed yearly maintenance on 40' bus. They were polite, through and knowledgeable. Book said I was due for wheel repack by time but not mileage. They pulled one wheel and said see you next time. Changed filters, oil, checked tires, lube, checked coolant pH, etc. Charged $85 for one hour of labor. Would have been in and out in one day but NAPA had to order air filter. Met me on Saturday morning to pickup bus. Didn't have bill ready. So, they said see you Monday morning. Nothing like living in a small town. They had never seen me before. They got my business as long as I live here.
