My Roadmaster/Stowmaster tow bar would not operate properly when I was in Reno, so I took it to Washoe Metals for repair. They told me to come back in a couple of days to pick it up, after they "fixed" it. When I went to pick the tow bar up, I was told it was fixed. When the worker put the bar back onto the front of my toad, I asked him to open the tow bar up so I could see if it now would operate properly. He claimed it was all fixed. Apparently it had never been even so much as touched, because it immediately jammed up again and would not operate. Because I had to leave the state the next day, I did not have time to again leave the tow bar at Washoe Metals for several days while they "fixed" it, so I told them to just give me a new tow bar, which then cost me over $400. I called Roadmaster and was informed that they had reimbursed Washoe Metals for the tow bar, and had told Washoe Metals to refund me the over $400 they had charged me for the new tow bar. Washoe Metals never refunded me, even after I made numerous phone calls to them. Roadmaster told me that they also had made several calls to Washoe Metals on my behalf. Washoe Metals kept telling me that they had sent me a check. I never received any check. It was the old "your check is in the mail" routine, no doubt. I use a mail forwarding company and they have never lost any of my mail. After several months, I finally called Troy, the owner of the company, and I told him that Jack at Roadmaster had told me he was going to require Washoe Metals to send him a copy of the so-called refund check they had been claiming they had sent to me. Jack's reply was "you and Jack can go to hell!" and then he slammed the phone in my face. I then spoke with one of the high level people at Roadmaster and he said he would take care of the matter for me, which he did. I thought it was kind of interesting that Washoe Metals sent me a check immediately after being contacted by Scott, one of the high level employees at
Roadmaster ...... after Washoe Metals had been trying to make me believe they had sent the check some time ago. It should not have been necessary for me to contact Roadmaster again, so they could fight the battle for me. Washoe Metals should have sent me my money back as soon as they were instructed to do so by Roadmaster.

Fixed socket on Motor Home for trailer wiring and trailer wiring to make signals operable. Did good work, good diagnosis. Not very friendly. Charged an hour and a half labor for what was probably a half hour job.
