Ordered from Camping World three slide awning covers. Had our trailer with us when placing the order they never seemed to look at our trailer when order was placed. Was told they would call when awning covers arrived to schedule installation.
Called Aug 9th, made appointment Aug 10/2012. Was brought in promptly and told a couple of hours to install. Came back, only one was installed. Was told to wait some more. Several hours later was told, due to our trailer they needed special brackets/mounts, will order them on Monday as it was Friday. Wonder why they didn't look at our trailer when order was place, or why it took all day for them to figure it out.
We were from out of state so left the trailer with them, expecting to hear something on Tuesday Aug 14th.
Tuesday came and went, as did Wednesday. Called Thursday morning @ 9:30 was told, let me call you right back. Last we heard from Camping World. Left several messages through the day on voice mail never heard anything. Called Friday, was told store manager was away and was transferred to service manager who we left voice mail with. Original gal never called back even with several messages on her voice mail.
Called head office, left a report, was told, will take several days to get back to us.
Need to pick up our trailer without having all the work done. Finally someone called us to tell us the work is still not complete. Picking up our unit with only one of three slide awning installed.
Was offered store credits for time and fuel going to Camping World and promised some refund. Yet to see what exactly that value might be.
Will be picking up trailer with incomplete work done.
Lack of any communication at all between vendor and consumer!
