Replace water heater Very, very, very poor service. We were initially told it would take a week to get the part. A full week later we were told the part was not available and it would take at least 2 1/2 MORE WEEKS to get the new water heater. I provided them with a different part number. They looked up the new part number I provided and it was immediately available so the previous week was completely wasted. The part arrived in 2 days but they then refused to schedule my RV into the shop. The service advisor promised to call me on at least 1/2 a dozen instances but actually only called 1 time and my calls to him went to voice mail. The SERVICE MANAGER absolutely refused to come out of his office and discuss the issue. I waited some time but he never showed up. The GM finally promised our rig would go in the shop "some time today." When it did go in the shop the water heater only worked intermittently. We were so tired of dealing with this we finally left without the heater working properly. I'll take it somewhere else where they know what they're doing and care about their customers. They do let you stay in their lot while waiting, but the shore power hookup they promised was never made available. The previous method of contacting the Camping World CEO directly is no longer available and the Camping World "Customer Service" contact is useless. Bottom line: don't come to this Camping World expecting any kind of service or help.

Repack wheel bearings Went in for the $229 wheel repack special. Everything was working fine when I entered. Just wanted to repack the bearings prior to a trip. Brakes were damaged when they removed the drums. I was told I needed to replace two complete brake assembly's. $1,114 later I left the facility and the brakes barely worked at all. They were completely out of adjustment. My complaints finally produced a different tech from the shop that was able to adjust the brakes properly. I have spent a great deal of money at Camping World over the years and I don't think I have ever left their shop paying only their estimated amount. They constantly "upsell" their customers.
