Norris RV

I did not need repairs but went to buy misc supplies. Have a well stocked parts store with friendly and helpful staff Prices are comparable to other RV parts stores.

Replaced black tank under extended warranty due to leaking reported by myself. They ordered and installed the black tank, however, still had a leak. They then came out and checked the tank flusher and it was leaking. They ordered parts and replaced and all is well. Repair tech admitted he should have checked this valve when they had the tank out. They did not charge for replacing the valve, duh!! Did have to call them and remind them the valve needed replacing and they came out same day.

Water Pump replaced Learning that I was simply traveling through town, the head of service at this company took me right away. The serviceman was terrific--let me watch the repair procedure and gave me hints about how to do it again should the need arise. He looked at something minor also wrong and gave free advice on fixing that, too. Because of the other review on this site, I was nervous about going here but I did not need to worry, for they were terrific. Good price on propane, too! I was in and out in a half-hour.

I'm guessing at the exact repair date, just found this site recently but felt Norris deserved a 'thumbs up'. Electric awning was damaged during wind storm. Norris came out, evaluated and determined the whole arm was damaged and needed to replace. 5er was still under warranty. Norris handled all the warranty contacts. In about a week, they had the new arm and came back and did the install. After about a week, I notice the awning was rolling up a little crooked, they came back and tweaked it. We also had them replace the toilet which had a broken foot pedal. Again, they replaced the toilet and did the warranty contact work. The toilet work was excellent. No problems whatsoever. The awning work was very good, it still rolls up slightly crooked, but they said the material has stretched. They could be correct. They really seem to try hard to please.

They repacked wheel bearings on 2 axles. Very poor workmanship. They installed 2 of the 4 oil seals crooked, which caused the drum to be loose on the hub. Which damaged the bearings and made 4 tires to wear the edges. When they remounted the drums, they did not readjust the electric brakes. So we did not have brakes. This was all noticed by me after driving 800 miles. They did refund $100. But to correct the problems it cost me a lot more then the refund. Norris RV, maybe OK to work on miscellaneous. RV Problems. But forget any major mechanical fixes. Just my experience, yours may be different.
